she is still the most picked agent in masters with 68% pickrate. Surely no more nerfs right?
i mean riot gave no time for teams to change their comps
some maps i can definitely see other agents being more viable than viper
also maps like breeze or icebox there hasnt been time to experiment with no viper comps yet, so everyone is playing the same viper
in the future i could see some innovative comps that will outperform the current viper comps
nobody___100 [#2]harbor will be picked more in champs nobody is adjusting their comps in 2 weeks after stage 1
I doubt anyone is picking harbor over viper especially with haven coming back + vipers wall is just to valuable

tbh playoff teams have had time to cook
PRLV [#5]tbh playoff teams have had time to cook
by cook u mean scrimming against chinese teams?
pulling out a innovating comp at the start of a masters is a damn brave thing to do

harbor is not a viper replacement
I understand these teams didn’t have much time to switch comps up or w.e but i don’t think viper will still fall out of meta tbh.
think they only way to do this is just to absolute fuck her wall in some type of way. most teams use the wall as a lurk and no matter what people say HARBOR is not a replacement and will never be one.
envyz [#4]I doubt anyone is picking harbor over viper especially with haven coming back + vipers wall is just to valuable
viper's wall has a slower refresh now though, harbor wall + cove is better given that viper only has a molly other than orb and wall. maybe viper will be picked on haven, but i can imagine other controllers doing as well, like astra/omen, and i think harbor will replace viper on maps like icebox

Viper on Haven was not very common, only Brazil started playing it
Schneefeuer1 [#7]harbor is not a viper replacement
on icebox or bind, could very well be. astra could also be back in the meta on some maps after viper nerfs, like on split or haven. it remains to be seen but i think there is also some harbor potential on haven, breeze, lotus but that remains to be seen
cloudberry [#12]I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY wanna see more Harbor play. He's EASILY the agent with the most untapped potential in the game, and he's SO underplayed for how immensely creative you can be with his walls.
he's good but I feel like he requires much more effort and practice to place down his walls correctly which is probably why he's not played that much atm

100% agree, he needs a lot more effort to master than an agent like Viper or Omen. But I think we're at the point in competitive VALORANT where am agent being easier to play doesn't necessarily make them a better option. If pros really dedicate themselves to it, they can truly master this agent. A few have already gotten relatively close, actually—tuyz, Mazino, s0m, BerLIN, and f0rsakeN come to mind.
