i understand vic and crashies are basically a package duo but im sure that fns would know how to utilize demon1 properly. I suspect he asked to be benched due to the personal things he is dealing with right now, as theres no way NRG thinks they can make vic as good as a duelist as peak demon1

good duelist should def know how to play raze and jett at least (high lvl)
its not magic, its being a good igl and knowing how to utilize a player's skillset. id say its better to have demon1 on jett maps and s0m on raze maps with demon1 on brim

demon1 just doesn't fit with this roster, it can't be forced
Demon1s playstyle isn't good as a primary duelist. He needs another aggressive player and that is Victor.
That's why EG was good, cause they had maps where jawgemo and demon1 were both duelist and jawgemo would be that guy to just find something.
If you watched NRGs games, you would see they have less FBs than nearly anyone.
So like it or not, victor and s0m is who they need NOT demon1 and that is something even FNS had to decide on I bet.

DogBlessGeesus [#10]d1 isn't a good entry duelist, he's a great aimer and fragger and can clutch. NRG was trying to use him as their main entry duelist and he isn't built for that.

s0m on omen maps, and raze on others. demon1 has experience as astra, and brim. Just train him on a cypher or literally any initiator and they're good on maps where vic played sentinel instead of raze (Sunset)
Demon1 was by far not the reason nrg didn't succeed this past split. Having no real dedicated igl with experience was the issue.
I respect Ethan trying to igl, but taking Ethan as igl instead of a dedicated primary igl with experience, and expecting good results after only 9 official matches. Just kinda dumb imo.

yeah he can. look at boostio. cryo was used badly and asuna was just dogshit. now cryo is the best player itw.
