Let’s be honest China don’t deserve 3 slots

China is just not on the level of other regions. Forcing them to get the same amount of slots causes 2 big problems:

1. Wasting a slot that could be filled by another team that is objectively better (KRU, NAVI, DRX)

2. Makes the tournaments more RNG based. Whoever gets randomly chosen to face China in groups pretty much gets a free ride to playoffs (TH & FUT 💀🤢)

Tbh I don’t even agree. Fpx shows to be a strong team the problem is that there’s a major falloff after that. Either 2 or 3 slots causes some trouble and making every region have the same slots is a balanced solution I think

Nah I think it’ll just be worse at champs but right now china has 2 teams which can do a lot of trouble at internationals and then the rest are kinda bad. I think it was kinda early to make china franchised but soon enough they will get third and fourth good teams and it will all be competitive

FPX and EDG are decent Teams and I really liked watching FPX Play. DRG and the other Teams however are just no contestants. When China gets 4 Spots for Champs I genuinly fear that the other 2 Teams will literally just be a total free win.

Maybe Kru, DRX and Navi should have earned their spot.
