EG made Demon1 Great

In my opinion, Demon1 was always going to be good but EG made him great
He could only play Neon ( which was out of meta) , Chamber (same thing) , and Jett
He couldn't play raze so he would play smokes
Jawgemo just happened to be able to flex Raze Smokes as well as he did
It was the perfect opportunity for him to succeed and he did

boostio + jawgemo. Boostio is probably the best American IGL, look at how he made 100t look like EG. Jawgemo covered his failures in the duelist category. Demon1 and c0m were just carried by the both of them, its undeniable atp

It was just a perfect storm of players. This is why you can’t put together a super team on paper.

Boostio and Potter

the kid has always been insane. no two ways about it
potter ultimately built an ideal system for him to fit into, but he has always had the raw capability to play at the level he showed at champs and still does
we all know why he's struggling and it obviously has nothing to do with the game. but the guy has more flexibility than people give him credit for imo

Boostio and jawg proved it this split they are as important as demon1 if not more to the old EG roster. Demon1 ( yea i know he got personal problem but still excuses ) and ethan got exposed hard.

Everyone on that team covered eachother's weaknesses perfectly and Potter is a goated coach. I always hated the narrative that Demon1 made EG and vice-versa. They were a team with perfect synergy, no one carried.
