Franchising is absolute trash
cboomer [#2]yeah lets go back to watching optic lose to rise and FNC play teams like OnlyFins
tbh NA challengers was so fun to watch back when the really good teams used to play with the tier 2 guys for qualification to the playoffs and stuff, but in EMEA and pacific it was pretty bad. what im saying is franchising was very good for EMEA and pacific, but not at all for NA/americas.

leave it to VLR to prefer watching version1 than lev
cause god forbid we have LATAM/SA teams
kru and lev are good too and spanking hella NA teams, makes it interesting.
Maybe NA t2 is stunted but honsetly, it's tier 2 thats how its supposed to be, no reason for international teams to be playing bums like trickaim

would love to watch that ngl 😋
CraigGarth01 [#6]would love to watch that ngl 😋
obviously, they are 100ts level
but international teams should only play international teams, sorry

you mean rising talent? Is that what you don't like? LOL
I prefer that over watching the same teams even if they are dogshit (MIBR) and having more real opportunities for new rosters and players.
I don't think franchising itself is necessarily bad, just the teams that are in it/are kept in it. They should make the franchising partnerships last only 1 year and at the end of the year it is determined what teams stay in franchising or get replaced. That would also add more pressure to dogshit teams like furia to get their shit together to keep their franchising spot.
laeDLaer [#10]riot esports is so shit lmao. cs esports is so clear
cs esports is so good, its fun to see some t2 teams battle out the old dogs and sometimes win.

or have regelation and increase the regional team count to 16
bottom 4 teams relegate back the challengers top 4 from challengers go into franchising

riot babies teams too much with the franchising system and lower bracket in every tournament, i want to see teams get good instead of coasting through getting last place in everything while we have tier2 teams grinding every day for 1 spot a year... big bullshit

they really should have relegation ngl, or have tournaments in different formats, e.g playins and stuff so t2 has a chance to compete, i could see m80 and other t2 teams making playoffs in these tourneys

most of NA t2 isn't rising talent its recycled talent
just because NA produces the MOST talent doesn't mean teams are mostly filled with guys who have already seen their highest highs
there aren't 10 potters just one too so the cope isn't real i fear

no i was just saying for NA viewers in particular, franchising was an L. for literally every other region and sub region, it was amazing for the viewers.
