You can't even be mad at the players. Heat is known to be a good fragger, he was literally top of his class on kru. Tuyz made multiple internationals, and while not a standout player, never looked terrible, like under saadhak he could play the game decently, and when he did well the whole team would do well. idrk about the rest of the players, but looking at their stats from t2 brazil its clear that they arent terrible. year after year furia does terrible. its not like they even do the wrong things either, they cycle coaches, cut bad players, keep players that perform well; they do everything "correct." The players that get cut are doing better in t2, and not like a little better, but like 3 of the top 10 rated players in t2 brazil (who btw are actually looking pretty good) played on furia before. Surely its a management issue or something, bc theres no way in hell this team should be this bad, its not even laughable its just sad. I mean I really dont want to be a downer and say that furia should exit the league, bc they are one of brazils most prominent esports team and have had a long history in val, but surely something majors got to change. If it were up to me (which I think I couldn't even save this team even if given infinite resources) I would just cut all management + coaches and sign some other brazilian team managers, analysts, coaches, and all. Keep heat, but put him back on initiator, and once basic comes back hope hes good. From there, I would say pull a geng and have open trials to anyone who speaks portugese and has been radiant for 3+ acts, and see who is worth keeping. Again, the players are surely a lot better than their results, as we can see with previous players, but its just sad how shit furia have been, and I really dont mean it as an insult, its just matter of fact. Brazilian valorant has so much talent and so much potential, its just tragic to see it all spread thin and wasted away by shit management. Hopefully this year can be the eye opener for furia and they can really bounce back next year, bc calling this game a destruction is an insult to sen.

actually read allat but a complete overhaul of management takes time and the org seems content with just changing roster over and over instead of doing deeper troubleshooting

this is bullshit man... hopefully 2027 is a wakeup call for them. I dont want them to leave partnership bc even tho im not a fan of the org i recognize that they have serious history in terms of putting br on the map for esports, and them leaving seems like an insult, but it is puzzling how consistently bad they are and have been... looking at player's before and after furia transformations its clear somethings wrong with how the org runs and if they actually want to stay they need to change

Palla had like one bad whiff and he actually tried to make space. the rest of the team minus heat 1 or 2 impact kills the entire map were doing absolutely nothing

Sure at the end of the day the players are the ones on stage.

But Heat, DGzin, Nzr and Tuyz are just 4 examples of players that look so different in and out of Furia, the mental of playing in Furia always seems awful.

and this shit management also will bring doom to furia.
i see 0 chance of furia getting another partnership slot after the assessment.

Depend of a miracle in 2027, but yeah, so far 2G may look like a decennt contenders, EXL will also be a HUGE contenders if they win (Especially since LAN have no Partner team wish is a shame)

partnership is not based purely off of results, orgs need to have stability, commitment, reliability, and enough money to invest in rosters, management, promo, and content. 2g is primarily a steam codes website or something else to my knowledge that happened to field a decent enough team to win ascension. Furia, while bad, is brazils biggest esports org. realistically if they were to get replaced (which I think would happen after a team like mibr would get replaced) the only brazilian org that could stand in their place would be los grandes.

"Furia, while bad, is brazils biggest esports org."
I read that everywhere but when I look at data it seems not, on twitter

  • LOUD have x3 follower,
  • Furia got a little bit more than MIBR, but it's close (The investment on female roster could be the game changer),
  • Pain got more fans than Furia

It's not they are only bad in T1 :

  • They are not the biggest BR org
  • The BR market is already pretty filled
  • Their history is... Well..
  • I admit their reliability is good
  • About investment, they are mid, they have a Acad team, but the Aca is the worst one, they have no GC team compared to MIBR and 2G (That are both 2 great team
I admit 2G have not enough reliability, but god, they investment is so good (top 3 GC, really good acad). E-xolos doesn't have the reliability, but they havea really good history, and especially it's the least saturated market in the world, (Maybe a partnership with Lyon gaming could help)

Also, we have to keep in mind that they are a lot of chance the number of partner go down in 2027, and Furia is by far the team that deserve the most to get out.

outside of valorant furia is the largest tho, and even tho they havent been great in valo, they have been here since the start. Loud has a bigger valo following obviously, bc of 2022, but they havent been able to hold onto players, and monetarily are much smaller than furia. mibr is similar in scale to furia, but thats mainly bc of immortals, which no longer has any presence in na, and anyways it was found in an investigation that mibr was using their valo stipend on their cs immortals team (one scandal whatever) but still even tho furia has sucked since forever, they are a stable org with a large monetary presence that has represented brazilian esports both inside and outside valo since forever

"outside of valorant furia is the largest tho"
Outside of Val League is also HUGE in BR, and Furia isnt an historical BR team, but I agree they are huge on CS, but outside CS, where are they big ?

yeah i agree they are only really big in cs outside of val but if we're looking at overall orgs that have some presence in valo, and have shown that they have money to commit and actually want to stay then furia is one of few options, on the contrary the only reason to kick them would be bc they are shit, which isnt really a valid reason

No hisoty, fewer investment in the game than other team, and especially their biggest threat : reduction of number of partner team, them and EG are the top 2 team that could burst (100T might also be at risk https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1m3eegx/100_thieves_announces_that_they_will_leave_lol/ )
If we go to 8 parner 4 ascention in 2027, they are no way they are in it's will be :

  • SA : KRU, LOUD, MIBR, (A LAS or LAN team)
  • NA : SEN, NRG/C9/G2/100T

if they lost 13-5, 13-5 MAYBE I'd give some semblance of a slack, but 13-0??!!
Nah its on the players, cos if they were actually trying their 'best', maybe their best should not be showcased on a tier 1 stage. sigh

its not just about this one game tho. Its about the fact this team did full overhauls of their rosters multiple times over 4 years while actually bringing promising talents yet somehow never winning any games. It cant possibly be the players at this point with the amount of players that went on this team.

Look at #7, but yeah he is completely correct

heat can be a top 10 player in the region, and the other 4 arent bad by any means. Somehow furia always has visa issues and players and coaches always are scrambling at the last minute. Its not necessarily on the players for this bad of a performance, ofc they didnt play well, but the fact that the org itself cant provide results whatsoever and has consistent persisting issues that somehow year after year never get fixed is not on the players.

The orgs cursed…
They make smart decisions on paper but in game it all falls apart

something behind the scenes man... somehow the players they sign look so bad in game

look at 2023 furia in hindsight: qck, mazin, dgz, khalil, and mw

all of these players except for maybe khalil are like miles better now, like put this team together now and they can seriously have a chance at making champs, especially considering how lackluster americas is this year. ik it was 2 years ago but cmon even 2024 furia players werent nearly as bad as their results... something HAS to change man

It’s the org there’s no way every single time they add a new BR player there’s visa issues

#13

yes. on top of that they really need some more analysts and performance coaches, bc how do you end up finding the best talent in t2 brazil and put them on a team, and somehow it all falls to shit. there is no other team that signs as many promising rookies as furia yet consistently year after year falters to the level they do, its insane

At least last year they didn't had a psychologist, and when the team has no support no management it just becomes a black hole for what would otherwise be great talent.

If we see Mw and Qck or Dgzin and Havoc playing great in ascention (if they manage to get there) it would become very clear that Furia as a valorant org is the problem.
