Key phrase “last year”. Monyet played a different role last year on a subpar team which led to his high rating. This year on his NEW role he has been one of the worst players in pacific. Asuna was good last year during regular season, but since LCQ started he has been underperforming and has looked mid. I think your definition of “good” might just be not understanding metas change and thinking players are performing the same no matter what. They aren’t good players anymore they are mid

why does monyet have to play duelist? what says he can't go back to smokes?
Asuna has played SIX VCT games divided by THREE events.(with 3 of those games either being their first VCT game with a new IGL, or vs the best team ITW) the reason I picked the league last year is because sample size is bigger.
while the meta has changed asuna's roles have stayed the same. The way the roles he plays play has stayed the same.
