In all my years of gaming, Valorant has to have one of the weirdest communities I have ever been a part of. It's not all of you, but it's enough of you.

it has weird parts but the idea that its especially weird compared to other communities is untrue, maybe the weird part is more connected to the rest though
CS's weird part is made up of racists and sexists, not visible
overwatch was kept relevevant by r34 and yk for a few years which is completely seperate from the game
every community is unique if you think about it. TF2 for example is filled, and I mean this as genuinely as possible no troll whatsoever, of autistic people. I've never seen anything like that in any sort of community I've been a part of and it was super weird when it became common to walk into a casual match and you'd have like 3-4 people admit on mic that they have Aspergers or even down syndrome occasionally, but shit was alright once I got used to it.

Live chat being horny anytime a female fan is shown in the crowd, drama over the gender and sexuality of fictional characters, drama over pointless nonsense in general, borderline psychotic overreactions to players playing poorly, weird e-date couples in my games, people being sexual in my games. These are probably the biggest offenders.

You're right, it's probably on par with other games or even less. It just stands out to me amongst the pool of games that I play/watch.

Right now I am playing RPGs that I missed out on. But for other e-sports I watch: Dota, CS, Rocket League, Halo, some fighting games. I guess you are right that each of these communities is weird in its own way, but Valorant just stands out to me idk.

i mean its the newest of all the games u listed, and at its core is still a combination of former CS, OW, and FN players instead of just its own community. in time it will be more cohesive and stand out less
