would you guys watch a sports anime based on esports??
ZettGundam [#5]sports anime itself is cringe , now imagine esports
hell nah. Isekai is fucking cringe. No soul wants to watch "WATARU!!! The Hot-Blooded Fighting Teen & His Epic Adventures After Stopping a Truck with His Bare Hands!"

The isekais names keep getting longer and longer💀💀
ALoKi007 [#12]That's actually a very difficult genre of anime to make according to me.... Solo leveling is gaming related but I don't think you mean that kinda story do you?
yes very. because while making the anime they will have to think about what game would they be doing to, assuming they wont use pre-existing games. which is unlikely because if they have a game idea, they're better off with developing that rather than make an anime about it lmao

it's already been done several times before but without the umbrella of esports. i think many times characters are put into a minigame separate from the real world such as capture the flag or something else. to me, this idea sounds like people just want a tournament story but has been done many times and it's a very notorious story structure...
i mean id watch it but i doubt you can make a good esports anime. The reason why sports animes work is because you don't really need to explain sports a lot. Everyone that watches bluelock has an idea how football/soccer works. It'd be hard to make up a game, the explain how the game works and build up a narrative around it.
Like even Yu-Gi-Oh has had to cut corners from how it works in the actual game vs the anime.

exactly. thats what i explained in #19
rather than an anime I want like an all or nothing type show from a valo team. from a lesser known team too. we'd get more fans

Maybe a movie would be fine with a story of a gamer in it! Well I hope a gaming anime you are suggesting would come. Worth trying!
