the goat conversation opens AFTER this year, and even then we probably won't have a "solid" answer, more like a few candidates.

if lev make noise internationally this year, aspas is extremely high in the conversation imo
if loud stay consistently good, less is an obvious candidate
maybe bleed turn their entire season around and yay becomes a candidate
fnatic need to make a run in an international event and their 4 players enter the conversation
tenz is looking to have a great resume after madrid...
navi winning an event would put their players in the conversation...
cned comeback is possible...
nrg could become a dynasty still...

the options are limitless, but the conversation opens AFTER this season, the game is too young and has changed too much each year to say literally anything right now.

greatest val player, the game came out in 2020, tenz was miles above everyone for all of 2020, most of 2021, was mid in 2022/23 and is a top 5 player itw to start 2024, if he finished why wouldnt he above less who came into his own at lock\in last year lol

Also sadly like, even though the game was early back then it's not like football where players back then were playing part time workers or something. The game was new but the scene was super developed early in the top of tier 1 because of people coming from CS. So you can't really invalidate it lol

I can tell you watch some real sports too. A lot of gamers don’t which is understandable but I think it gives u a heads-up when it comes to comparisons since you can find parallels between val and other sports debates

I would disagree with the tenz take. Not saying he’s the front runner by any means but his early run was the most dominant any player has ever been and probably ever will be in val. The scene was young but it happened. If he continues his resurgence he’s going to make a great case

F0rsaken is going to be the s1mple of valorant. Mechanically gifted player who won't win a major for a long time. He gets close to winning but chokes games they should win.

Therefore, f0rsaken will be the goat. He plays nearly every agent in the game at a high level, and has some of the best mechanics in the game. He also helps igl in the team.
