A Team like FNATIC are getting knocked out in EU before the EMEA main event that is possibly better than all Turkish or cis teams qualifiying:/
But Fnatic threw a lot in Breeze. They deserved to lose. It just shows that Seangares was right about Eu not sending their best teams to Iceland. Just want to see Gambit, Guild, FPX, Acend or G2 make it to Berlin and not Liquid. Even VGIA would be good. Just want to see some different teams from different regions
Fnatic honeymoon wore off + they slacked with their preparation for masters 3 after finishing the LAN in Reykjavik + Other teams in EMEA had an additional month to watch Fnatic demos and analyze their playstyle + Fnatic were unsuccessful at adopting a different playstyle to counter the antistrats created specifically against them by other EU teams.
Fnatic deserve to have failed to qualify for Berlin, now they have time to work hard for LCQ.
There is a quite big possibility in which Fnatic still gets to Champions without having to grind LCQ lol.
Example:
Acend wins Berlin, gets a straight spot at LA.
G2 and Blaze place top-3/4 at Berlin, still can't get past Fnatic in EMEA run (325 < 350).
Gambit places top-8 at Berlin, overtakes Fnatic in EMEA run (145 + 275 > 350).
Woooops! Free 2nd circuit spot for Boaster & co. while not doing anything since Iceland, and it's just one example, there are much more.
Basically Iceland ruined this entire VCT year because there were only 2 of our teams + retarded single elim format which rewarded Lulquid so much
Maybe if Masters 2 had 4 EMEA teams like it was meant to be, FPX / Gambit / Acend / Guild would qual too and the gap in points wouldn't be so Fnatic-sided right now
But we know that 99% of Valorant viewers are dumb kids who only want HYPE and LANS even if it only has 10 teams instead of initial 16, nobody cares about circuit problems which are caused by different Stage formats
