EMEA is the worst at the moment. If I were to think of possible trophy winners this VCT, all of the regions have a decent chance expect for EMEA.

They have been playing like PRX this year. Go watch the sen game. What freeing was doing on Haven A, or how they would dry peek on C and garage and get kills. Today was nothing different except they lost more duels

They have 0 plays, no util usage. Half of the time beyn and freeing are dying w almost full util. Only guy who actually uses his abilities is HYUMIN. 0 repositions no counterstrats. Just keep on dry peeking and hope to win the duels. I am no hater, but DRX has been trash.

How's he the best Tejo? He has full util half of the time when he's dead. He would've won those fights on a different agent too. Being Tejo doesn't matter
How are they even winning. Just keep taking dry peeks and dry fights and somehow they win. You may win a game or two, but you can't win tournaments by playing like that. Worst util in T1

Worst map is probably haven. I feel like it's the most fluke map with little strats and no defined comp/play style
I think remake should come 1 round later (getting dc'ed on loading screen is pretty common).
So, if a player has been dc'ed for the first 2 rounds then rest of the team can vote for a remake and it should require 2-3 votes max (given that all 4 players are connected).

FTX and Sam Bankman's frauds have taken the faith out of CEXs and DEXs are actually getting popular now (Uniswap for example). The terrible UX is a major hurdle in the way, but with silent signing and gasless transactions coming, it might get better.
It's not cheaper yet. A single transaction on ethereum costs around 5-6 dollars (on Avg) which is a huge amount.
Also yeah, you're right about the scamming stuff. The early investors of web3 scammed the shit out of general public, but that's happening with AI too, no? Everyone is portraying LLMs as AI, and more than 80% of these AI applications are just using GPT's APIs which itself is degrading with passing time. Now that all the hype of flashy web3 stuff is gone the ecosystem is working towards sustainability and growth, and I can assure you that web3 is more than just NFTs and Bitcoin.
rn the only accessible and trusted applicaition of web3 (blockchain) is crypto, and you can see its worth. Currently, most of the work is being done towards scaling blockchain technology. This will enable web3 gaming and I am sure it will become very popular (You could have NFT rewards in traditional web2 games too).
By web3, if you are thinking of a completely decentralized web with no elon or zuckerberg, that won't happen for atleast 50 years imo, but gradually we'll see an equilibrium between the two technologies.
Web3 will win ultimately. We're in the right direction and very soon Web3 will be cheaper and more accessible.
