I used to LOVE this game gameplay, but idk, he is playing waaay too differently nowdays, spraying ppl down, sometimes maybe shaky... I understand playing different roles, like he played with Skye and Viper... i understood that. The only problem is, he dsnt seem the same. He was my "hero", he was the guy that i tryed to learn and get better from. But rn, im starting to think that he was only that insane, not only cuz the chamber, but bcause he had the leadership of FNS and the insane support and trust by the other players in that Optic roster. Rn i feel he is in a only "skilled" team, with 0 knowledge and teamplay.

What u guys thoughts? What do you think happened to him, for real, without biased comments .

my genuine opinion is that he's in a major slump and being on an agent like viper or skye doesn't really help his performance.

this is objectively not true, they guy is a world class duelist and sentinel player.

put anyone on a new team with different roles and things will end up wrong unless you've had time to flesh it out.

Look at SEN last year with Sacy and Pancada

imo they should keep yay on duelist or sentinel roles to be able to flex his aim and play passive when he needs to

yeah in 2021 and 2022 but if u watched 2023, u could see he was lower to middle of pack as far as duelist went when on c9 and when c9 dropped him he lost all confidence and was the worst duelist by kd and first kill to first death ratio in tier 2 over on dsg so i think he is a capable player but he isnt in the right headspace to play the game , he looks and plays terrified knowing these hate threads are coming and as a pro player he needs to be more headstrong if he wants to compete cuz he has remained stagnant or arguably declining while everyone else is putting in the hours and zipping by him.

“Hope” Nah, if you see his match earlier he was getting flamed every round he makes a mistake or dies. It’s like they are trying to break him so bad. He’s not even hate worthy, he’s a nice guy.

I don't really think he's rated that highly anymore but for some reason the haters just love to hate even though the expectations have dampened a lot, certainly don't need to clown on him constantly.
The GE game should be a wakeup call for everyone on their team though, imo they should practice as much as possible and build better protocols and clean up their decisionmaking. Sometimes yay was at fault but sometimes the round was over after GE got a lurk off or suddenly upped the tempo of the game and caught a player off, it's a team game there's some culpability with all players to not be sloppy.

i dont think aspas is the goat. I would love to see him trying new things. To me, aspas was not in the level of yay, at his peek, ofc. Idk, i think the goat is Saadhak. if u think overall. He wins in every aspect of the game, with different rosters.

theres no such a thing... im currently immo3, in ranked theres a bunch of different aspects of the game, same happen in competitive matches... he just need to be confortable and the team need to be in the same page... he was the best by far... we all know that
