“valorant has too little matches and a lot of offtime. I feel like i practice 98% of the time rather than play”

please use your influence to get us more matches 🙏

pros having been saying this but Riot and the ppl who defend them for some reason are trying to convince you that they know whats best for the pros lol. It's so hypocritical and dumb af, all it does it disconnect fans from the game they want to watch.

Valorant died out so much during this off-time. I hope @RiotVAL recognizes that.

what they mean is like. more people watch international lan events than leagues. so the good teams at the start of they year will be the good teams at the end of the year as well because of practicing with teams all over and more experience in current meta. there no room for other teams to grow because the splits are too small

who's not gonna watch dude? Do you want a long-ass 6-month break and then 10 matches for the whole year? lmao.

no there’s a difference between having matches spread out and having more matches.

kaplan doesn’t want it compacted into a single week. i don’t think he minds more matches if it were spread out evenly.

it's a problem overall though. Riot doesn't make money if there's no views or people buying tickets to their events. They're putting a ton of money on booking venues, and paying for a huge production staff just to run these. It's the same as league of legends, eventually the overhead will be too much and they'll have to run layoffs again.

It's good to have more matches for the general fans and pro players but if the viewership is not up to their expectations, it's losing Riot's money.

Edg played 50+ matches last year those guys were mentally fucked by the end of the year. and ofc sentinels are gonna spend more time practicing they can't even make it to playoffs, EG had 4 UNKNOWNS and they won champs, actually a skill diff. Come at me sentinels fans.
