So shroud had 40-60k viewership just watching VCT view party (good number), then he decided to play the game instead of watching.

Guess what? The mainstream and nerdstreet stream viewreship went up by 1k viewer each.

Shroud is single handedly carrying the esports viewership number. If Shroud decided one day he's done with Valorant, the viewership of esports will just get cut in half. This is not sustainable.

Because it’s a qualifier and it’s the last game. The tsm game was an exception it won’t be like that for most qualifiers

Let's say you even are right, he is bringing in like what 30k of his own viewers who don't care about valorant? For masters he had around 300k or something....
Its not just him, some just enjoy the game and shroud is just a medium for it..
If he stopped doing these watch parties which i know he won't unless he isnt allowed, I'm still confident that valorant will keep doing well

yes obviously ShaZam got his own viewers as well, but the point of my post is that the 60k viewers in Shroud stream, like 10-20% will still watch VCT through other way if Shroud is not watching. And relying over half your viewershp on a single streamer is just not sustainable in the long run
