Bro its ur dog, please pick a breed that u like and a name that is actually good and meaningful. If ppl ask about ur dog and its related to a game, thats gonna look real bad. Probably research the breeds- what color u like, size, fluff or none, etc

Golden retriever. Whenever my friend got a golden retriever as a puppy he was very playful, but now he jumps on me. I personally have a golden doodle who is very cute and playful, but won't really protect you later in life. Golden doodle's are also one of the easier breeds to take care of.

I have four puppies in my bedroom, and while 2 of them have guaranteed homes, we might end up with 1 without. Weimaraners btw.

Get a dumb dog if it's a house dog TBH unless you have a lot of time to take the dog out. Intelligent dogs are more hyper, like Border Collies, Poodles and etc. A dumber dog is usually more chill. My favorite breed is a Border Collie though, they're so smart but also hyper.

The dog just wants to play, he doesn't dislike you because he jumps. If he didn't like you, he'd just growl, yeah?

Also, breed is not as much of a factor as actually training the damn dog. Any large breeds, from shepards, to bulldogs, to Rottweilers can be as playful as your toy breed without training.

Potentially the dumbest comment I have ever read in relation to animals. I hope you never end up owning one.

bit biased but you should look at the boxer breed, they are very nice but will also protect you and their territory. For the name though, I recommend choosing something you wont regret, and something thats simple so that the dog is able to understand when you are calling for it.

It is definitely a factor. My golden doodle barely barks because most golden doodles don’t bark and also he doesn’t shed, so it is a bit lower maintenance. Also i meant to add on that my friend’s dog used to jump on people because he realized he can knock them over because he weighs like almost a 100 pounds. He also used to bark at other dogs and people on the street and sometimes tried to chase them. I’m just highlighting my personal experience and it definitely isn’t the same for everyone.
