he was asked to play initiator when viper and sentinels have always been his best role

lots of role issues, he and vanity were constantly switching smokes and initiator which ruined the team's cohesion and made it impossible for them to become comfortable on their roles. with what we've seen in 2023, c9 prolly would've done amazing if they kept vanity on smokes, moved mitch to initiator, and put curry on sentinel/viper. hindsight is 20/20 though, and it prolly made more sense on paper back then

Had big shoes to fill by being xeta's replacement, couldn't perform up to par in the role he was given and as the result C9s results suffered.
