you are wrong about iso ult.

hey, PRX analyst here. after beta testing him with my boy ilya I can confirm his ult isn't as bad as the community thinks rn.

couple of uses i gathered from watching my boy ilya farm:

if u kill someone with the flow state ability and you take the orb and ult, the orb stays and you are protected for one shot. which is really good in iso ult.

if you know enemy has shit aim (fns, russ💀💀💀), its a free pick.

if you hear a raze rocket/neon ult running at you, you can cancel it with ur ult.

if you are low hp, you get to take a fair 50/50 instead of 20/80 or whatever it would be. which all things considered is pretty good.

if enemy has bad guns (stinger/shotguns and so on...) its a free fight)

if location of enemy is known, you can ult and your teammate can guarantee the trade with util/camping the body. (which never happened btw, cuz ilya never lost his 1s.)

on top of that its pretty good in a 2v1 and so on, when u can just take the duel and your teammate can 100% guarantee the trade, and of course low time situations with spike.

and on top of that, for my boy ilya, every 50/50 fight is already a 70/30 for him. he is just that good.

so yeah, not the worst ult in the game.

Actually destroys oppers too I'm scared for kk. Once iso gets rolling it's quite nasty for someone with insane aim.

the 2 walls you havve in front of you at the start compared to the opponents one wall makes the 50/50 into a 60/40, and if you're a good player then it rises as high as 70/30; the space your opponent can peek from is limited, whereas the space you have enables you to peek out of 3 different pathways. (you could run at em with a judge/low money gun) or (wide peek from left or right)

if you win the fight, an orb appears and if you hit it then youre protected just like the double tap

You can use on a Viper on vipers pit to find her and kill her, and if you're against a ulted Reyna or Jett you can ult on them to have a fair fight since the abilities are disabled on the arena.

how long is the ult stays for if no one dies yet?

Not just that. Ult a known sentinel potentially solo holding a site and make way for your team

W post never thought of this, what happens if its a 1v1 and you ult last guy and you both wait the timer who wins the round?

His name is Iso for a reason.

He is made for isolating 1v1s as much as possible.

He's a legit counter to any 1v1 situation:

Attackers playing for time. They don't try to kill you, they wait for spike to run out of time. Pop the fucking ult and he's fucking revealed, it's up to you if you whiff them or not;

If you're the attacker with spike planted, and you have no idea where the defender might be or he's defusing. Pop the ult and he's revealed. Again, it's up to you if you whiff them or not;

If you're in a 1vX situation, assume it's a 1v2. Pop the ult get the free 1v1. Again, it's up to you if you whiff or not. And then get the last kill. Or whiff.
