FINALLY KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
He’s not a pedo, just a weirdo + we all know hes not nb https://x.com/rankup/status/1712217350903038403?s=46&t=Da9ad1fdF26gsxOIuDDyYg
Idk bro, normally when someone talks about intentionally transitioning to NB in order to compete in GC, that's a pretty good sign they're faking it. Even if you don't believe they're faking it, someone like that wouldn't have experienced any marginalization that game changers is supposed to account for.
see i got downvoted for putting a a definition and adding why its fucked, theyre are people who really identify as non binary, but theres alot of people who fake it 100% wether they like it or not and even if its a small batch that lie, theyre sitll lying and ruining it for the majority that are truly NB and which is why I said its fucked.
Stands for Non-binary. From what I understand it's a gender-dysphoria-esque feeling of being neither a man nor a woman. They choose to identify as NB in order to avoid that feeling. Tbh I don't know enough about it, so I'm uncomfortable defending it in the same way I would defend a normal trans man or trans woman, but I personally don't have any problems with it until someone shows me some research proving it's fake.
Well, it's a tough question tbh. The point of game changers is to let people who are marginalized from normal competition get a place to develop. Our normal notion of these people would be cis-women, and recently trans women. It's possible that NB experiences a similar marginalization, but the rise in NB is so recent that it's hard to say for sure. I think Riot has made the conscious decision to allow NB players to compete, and that's their prerogative. The only thing I worry about is that people are going to be afraid to call out people that are obviously faking NB because they think it hurts the credibility of all NB players in the league.
I can't answer for sure, but this would be how I would expect any marginalization to occur. meL was turned down from competing on some teams due exclusively to her being a woman. Women in general experience a feeling of otherization when playing games, people making sexist jokes, being asked if they're a girl any time they talk, being the only girl in games a lot of the time, etc. It's possible that situations similar to these exist for NB people.
Again, I don't feel comfortable defending it too much because I don't know enough about it, so if someone more knowledgeable than me wants to comment, that would be appreciated.
