honestly i think another major in brazil (be it masters or champions) could really work if riot actually took notice of the intricacies of brazilian life, especially in huge cities like Rio and São Paulo.
things like timing (a big event in mid-february/early march, right when most people are going back to work/school) and matches ending too late (it can start getting dangerous and really expensive to go back home real fast) could be avoided if riot was a bit more insightful about the place they're hosting a major event.
Riot has a schedule theyre following and its already set for the next couple years as its based around each episode and act
