Demon1 role

What exactly is his role ? i was thinking who are top 5 players in each role and what role is demon1 ? duelist ? controller ? flex?

the agents he plays are controller and duelist the roles he plays in game are refragger, entry, and pivot depending on what agent jawg and him are playing

Everything. He is the best player in the world in Duelist/controller role. He would be best in other roles too. that is how good his aim is.

EG doesn't have a dedicated controller player, so they switch between jawg and demon1 depending on whether it's a raze map or a jett map.

Jett/Controller I guess

Maybe we will see him on even more different roles in the future, he doesn't really like OPing as much as Boostio so there is no reason to always keep him on an OP focused agent. Furthermore his mechanical skill allows him to shine on any agent. He is just too good at the game.

no role. he just shows up and selects whatever agent looks cool to him, like a ranked match. his team picks the comp around him after he locks

He plays mainly Duelist but it's clear he isn't the main entry no matter what agent he plays (not saying he doesn't, but EG's balance with entries is very different compared to other teams). When their team truly needs space created, Jawgemo and Boostio are their real entries even on off-roles. It requires a lot of creativity and awareness to be able to entry so consistently without a dash, so props to them. In that sense, Demon1 plays more of a trader/lurk. His playstyle is very similar to an average Chamber regardless of his agent choice since he usually sits back and waits for his team to set him up in good positions to frag where he doesn't have to worry about utility as much.
