L format L format ur mom, now I believe people here are idiots who always complains about something but in reality doesn't know anything, before complains use your brain to think is not that hard. look how many team that apac have & how many team that can qualify from grup compare to other region. if u want be double elim. only 2 team can qulify of the grup like EMEA how about that ?

tbf I'm not complaining, you only need one team anyway and we have somewhat the same amounts of matches as the rest of the other region (americas got double elim but it was due to having less teams in the tournament, and EMEA got double elim but the playoffs only has four teams instead of 6) so it's not that bad in my opinion
personally the MY/SG challengers playoffs format look really good, obviously L rito haven't even considered abt it

You won't ever see a lower bracket run. Teams like NRG (ex optic) if they were in this format lol would basically wouldn't show anything.
I think they used the old format. They did like this in last years, idk why?
rito indie company use all of their money for master tokyo and only have a little left for ascension
