it's not flyquest. the region is so poor and there's nothing to play for other then ascension, FlyQuest CS team are guranteed money + slots all the time so its a much lower risk
theres no reason any sane import would go to Australia and risk a chance on ascension, I have alot of confidence in JJH to win this ascension it's a pretty stacked OCE team + they seem to be boot camping and praccing alot so who knows
watching FPX play is usually always so entertaining but these comps recently have just been complete overcooks man. we're in a (mostly) double senti meta and you have to goated sentinels in autumn and yosemite but still insist on random triple smoke comps. I still have hope for this team I still strongly believe yosemite is an upgrade over lysoar but we need to back to the drawing board with these comps

since OCE val is pretty much done for the year, wanted to make a list of who I think are the best talents in OCE and some talent people can look out for :D
1. FPX autumn - undebatable tbh, only aussie to make it to a tier 1 international. went from being a duelist player to the ultimate flex
2. NOVA swerl - even though nova were fairly average this year, swerls impact was immediately noticeable, should be an absolute beast next year, only other aussie in tier 1.
3. CCG maple - this guy been a demon for a while now and was fairly close to winning China ascension. arguably mechanically the best player OCE has to offer. massive waste if he's not in tier 1 next year
4. JJH/SCARZ tixx - unlucky choke with scarz but overall a really good year. it's clear he's levels above the rest of OCE scene at the moment with all the international experience
5. JJH dragon - another really flexible player who has crazy carry potential, be cool to see him international next year whether that's tier 1/2
6. AIC FETA73 - this guy next up, hopefully can make name in the apac scene with his spot in acer tourney next year
7. JJH LEW - still a super strong duelist in OCE proved he can play all duelist to a top level
8. JFT/JJH ikana - IMO the best player on JFT. super solid initiator player who could be a menace (ignore the grand final sunset incident...)
9. JJH minimise - still pretty clearly the best support/IGL in the region. wanna see him lead a team in ascension next year
10. FOC vizsla - along with minimise probably the best igl in the region, super smart/flexible player who gets the job done.
HM: kadiri, sinaway, murza and zauqk
2 no scopes with the outlaw, one pump with a shorty then a knife kill to cancel the one second defuse. you just can't make this up LOL

don't get it twisted this guy can shoot but I really feel like that's all he can do, watching him on bleed last year there were so many times he'd be last alive with full util lurking around the map. Felt like he was always trying make some sort of highlight reel which often failed. I get wanting to be a star player/carry but that doesn't work when your team can't hold their own. Not to mention the drama last year which is why I think is the biggest reason he hasn't been signed.
BUT
There's a good chance he didn't give a f*ck because bleed were so terrible so if he joins a team this year and proves me wrong I wouldn't be surprised. I do really believe he could easily be one of the best controller players in the world if he just drops the ego and the want for a 10 trillion dollar contract

Guang - people that know who he is do realise this guys a beast, unfortunately not enough people know him. Him and swerl are the shaq and kobe of NOVA and hopefully will drag them to an international this season
SiuFatBB - originally a duelist player in the HK/TW scene he was picked up by wolves as an IGL/Initiator player and is learning FAST. being reunited with Fayde should be a big boost too his already rapidly improving performance (as shown in the WALL-E cup)
Ninebody - Tyloo was unfortunately a massive mess last season so he wasn't able to shine, but this season (as long as they don't shit the bed) he should be able to pop off with better teammates and a solid coaching staff (not sure about the language barrier though) this guy was a beast pre-franchising so hopefully it's a return to form.
