C9 also beat EG in groups but got wrecked by the same team in playoffs a few days later

if EG doesn't win masters: C9
if EG wins masters: C9 + SEN
reasoning:
- C9 are pretty strong, and i predicted they would lose in americas playoffs because of new guy pressure (jakee/runi) and i was mostly right. if they get over that mental hurdle for LCQ then i think they are favorites
- SEN found their lineup (-dephh +marved), it was just a couple of weeks too late to make playoffs. plus, i don't think the other teams can do much better unless they were UBER sandbagging the whole time (inb4 KRU demolishes everyone). FURIA was supposedly imploding a couple of weeks ago (not sure if that's still true), 100T is struggling without sgares, LEV just kind of fell apart (free my man kingg), and MIBR and KRU are just kinda there for the ride (again, unless they're just hard sandbagging)
if i were to rank the teams based on likelihood: C9 (most likely), SEN, FUR, LEV, 100T, MIBR, KRU. if FUR isn't imploding then FUR and SEN are about equal for now
