Now that riot have an established player base they're finally making high quality changes to the game for competitive, or at the very least a few good changes.

CS2: same CSGO game with a high saturation

Valorant is fun because you get wild Cinderella storylines like EG. It is impossible for me to watch teams that I have no interest in.

CSGO is better to watch still. There is just more skill expression and it’s easier to follow.
