Hear me here and now, and let it be known that so long as Koldamenta and BARBARR are on the team,
KOI will never be capable of signing a good tier 2 duelist
the problem is is that Wolfen was an insane T2 Jett player and it didn't work out
also the mistic thing only happens if Apeks don't make ascension and imo they're the favourites to win it rn

Look at Russ's performance before joining guild and after leaving guild, look at yacines performance before joining guild to replace russ, look at wolfen's performance before joining KOI.
The only players that Guild signed that didn't immediately play like shit were genuine goats like Sayf Leo Trexx.
Idk what it is, but something about their strategies or coaching makes it extremely hard to integrate into that team

you can't attribute t2 players performing like t2 players when faced with t1 to the coaching staff. yacine and russ' performances got worse because the opponents got harder, and got better when they left/ before they joined because the opponents got easier. sayf leo and trexx stayed the same because they were top level players to begin with.
