Catalan is Spoken in most of the Eastern coast. Catalonia, Valencia and Balearic Islands. Barcelona alone is like 15% of the Catalan speakers tho so good guess, but not the case

Interesting, I didn't know that. I thought Catalan was spoken only in Catalunya and tried to guess the most famous city. Said that, you're valencian.

Yeah a lot of people think that but those 3 zones used to be part of the same Kingdom, Aragon Kingdom where they spoke Catalan. Southern Italy was part of it too, I believe there is still a couple places in Cerdenya where they still speak Catalan.

I Know Aragon Kingdom bc of Fernando (Isabel's husband) and I knew it used to have the eastern part of Hispania, but thought there were different languages.
Don't bother, I love history.

Hell yeah man good job.

Yeah interestingly enough they don't speak Catalan in Aragon anymore. Just Catalunya, Valencia and the Balearic Islands. It's cool but kinda useless ngl, like there are about 10 million speakers which is very decent, but everyone who speaks it's also perfectly fluent in Spanish so it doesn't really add a lot of value in that sense
