The format isn’t the problem. We need player selected seeding rather than seeding done by RMR results. Also people need to stop complaining when “good teams” lose to “bad teams”. It’s just like valorant franchising. Partner teams aren’t exactly always better than non partner teams. People are so deluded by the blast/ESL franchising system, that they are conditioned to believe that any team participating in those events are better than non partner teams.

At Katowice 2019, teams got to create their own seed ranking list. Then, the seedings of the teams were aggregated and averaged out to determine which team got which seed. This fixes problems such as FaZe being the 12th seed in the Legends stage while ITB is 6th.

this actually seems like such as good ranking system, except some bias can possibly come by ppl voting on their country's teams or their friends' teams far too high than deserved
