I think it's amazing how EG and GE have so much in common, so many players just can't get the right mix of them in the game, but apparently GE looks more promising than EG
Yeah for sure, I think GE looks more promising than EG because they basically brought top players from SA, SEA, and KR, so they have mechanically better players and a tier 1 proven IGL - not to mention they're really strong on pistols, which is a trait that is shared amongst really high level teams - LOUD, OpTic, DRX, NAVI, and FNC
EG have less to work with and their management i believe has kind of taken a hit sooo
yeah, GE seemed to be building either for LCQ or next year, with Tokyo a bonus achievement. I don't think they seriously expected to compete for one of the top 3 spots when DRX's form and the generally stable cores of ZETA & PRX, not to mention GENG being a dark horse and early visa issues. EG are known for building up players through their "talent pipeline" but I wonder if they're seriously cooking something or they can't seem to get the right mix of players from their internal scrims.
Regardless, EG have potential too, 13-3ing LOUD on their own map pick is a great result, they just need to figure out how to replicate it consistently across different maps - which, to be fair, is the hard part.
Considering that Gen G was playing very well in Haven (especially after the T1 game) having taken 11-1 from DRX was even spectacular, they tried to get back into the game, but the damage had already been done in the first half, they played well the fracture, but pearl didn't have much talk either. Unfortunately I didn't see the game against GE. But due to the number of Indian posts, Skrossi played very well
