If GE gets away with no indian roster, RRQ got the short end of the stick by getting warned by riot for not having indo players and being forced to add whoever indo they could. Good indo players knew to stay away from rrq by then.

iirc the problem was that RRQ was not utilizing the money the receive from riot by basically continuing with 4 players from their old roster GE on the other hand did build a competitive roster

I believe thats different case. as far as I remember RRQ get backlash from the Indonesian community for getting tier 2/3 PH player. They were literally become public enemy in their own country. While in GE case, we never see this happens.

Yeah, they tried to sign the Indo players with the bare minimum contract. But most of the players knew better and doesn't take that. It resulted with RRQ ended up with 5 PH roster players from their old open circuit days and Xffero (Tehbotol). But then rumors about Riot warning some orgs spread, and not long after, RRQ ended up signing Flipzjder and Lmemore too.
