For 2 years yes. If they did something really shady Riot has to forbid them from competing when they enter Valorant or when they do the shady thing, not after they win

so basically, 3 regions, americas, emea, and pacific each get 10 teams for a total of 30 teams that form the VCT and then there is VCL (Valorant Challengers League) and each league has a certain amount of teams that go to the end of the year ascension tournament for a chance to win a slot in the VCT league for 2 years then you get demoted back down to VCL.

Riot cannot seize contracts, that's just not legally possible as far as I know. They can tell the players they can keep the slot if they join another org maybe
