FDWC- [#4]skin investment
there will always be skin investment 100%
without the history
wdym by this tho
like if csgo and counterstrike never existed.
if cs2 was a standalone game
capital_d_colon [#3]it wouldnt be as popular but people would still play it.
WRONG, no one would play it.
apex more fun, valulrante more fun , heck , the sims 4 is more fun
edit: for the ppl downvoting, please go watch THE SIMS 4 category on twitch, i can confirm 100% is more fun then cs. thank me later

with history he means like the fact that its CSGO, his fame and all that things, basically being known for being a Old game.
(i think)
Subreezy [#9]there is not a single positive thing about your message history
u the one bringing the negativity, go eat another burger

The way valve handles the game, it wouldn't last more than a year tbh. You see the reaction of people when there's less new content. Imagine CS being the way and releasing in 2022/2023. People would play for hype and then we would see a "dead game - CS2" video on YT.

Numbx [#15]downloaded cs yesterday and my first match theres a cheater lol
i mean that's cs , from match fixing to straight up cheating, that's just cs from first match to professional level.

it just depends on the esports scene and skin economy rn
soonwookong [#17]nah we find new guys on mm all the time on smurf
that's us, val players trolling around :D
do u actually believe that if cs releases brand new today it would be successful ? im convinced there's actually 0% change
Numbx [#15]downloaded cs yesterday and my first match theres a cheater lol
That’s why they’ve finally updated it. They knew their mm sucked and everyone played Faceit so they had to do something about the spaghetti code of Source 1 and make a new anti cheat

is this confirmed already ? cause that will be even worse for cs (losing faceit) , faceit is actually really good at separating the adults from the kids in cs (and i would pay for the same in valo btw), i doubt the boomers will enjoy playing with kids if they do make a new mm system with new anti cheat etc..

The new player experience is terrible u need like face it and have to get good trust factor..

There's nothing stopping kids from playing Faceit rn, almost half the games I get put into have someone that can't be more than 12. But the bright side is at least when you get put on a team with kids they're at least on a similar skill level. Like Global in CS has such a high skill disparity between the bottom and top globals so games are usually always 16-0s or something, thats the main reason I play Faceit because the games are closer and faceit level 6-7 is probably the average skill of a global elite so there's many more ranks to seperate skill.
Imo if Valve simply improves there elo system and maybe gives you an option to see where you place on a leaderboard that would be good enough to convert many faceit players, pros would obviously still use pro league but yk

valve is probably the worst company about caring of his games, they just relese it, update 1y later, 2, 3... just look at tf2, they are hackers everywhere
