The only realistic tiers
These are prize pool tiers. Superdome = all the last year Challenger leagues (emea, na, apac, etc). I think this are not realistic tiers
Brimstan [#4]champions and masters should both be s
I don't get why champs is rated diff than masters. Champs is more prestigious from a layman perspective but masters can be more difficult to go farther in since all teams who are playing recently qualified meaning they are in great form. Champs teams can qualify via past successes and are not necessarily in best form unlike masters.
wrong
S (MAJORS) - Champions, Masters, LOCK//IN (https://www.vlr.gg/event/466/valorant-champions-tour-stage-3-masters-berlin)
A - Region League, Final Ascension tourney (https://www.vlr.gg/event/1189/champions-tour-2023-americas-league)
B - Regional Ascension Playoffs (https://www.vlr.gg/event/1458/challengers-league-north-america)
C - Regional Ascension Open Quals (https://www.vlr.gg/event/1309/challengers-league-north-america-qualifiers)
D - 3rd Party tournaments (https://www.vlr.gg/series/6/knights-monthly-gauntlet)
Masters are majors because they simply show the best team at a time, ex if fnatic win 2 masters they were the best team during that time. Say FNATIC then go on to win champs it has the same effect just the stakes are higher because it was harder to get there this does not in turn make masters not a major, it is a riot hosted LAN for the current best teams which makes masters a major.
Mortadelo [#9]To everyone saying Masters is a major this is not fucking CS move on. Champions is worlds, rest is MSI at most
to everyone saying this is a worlds this is not fucking league move on.champions is a major and masters are majors
reycac [#10]to everyone saying this is a worlds this is not fucking league move on.champions is a major and masters are majors
champions is champions and masters is masters

This is talking about prizepool... Not about real relevance

"While the prize pool is an important factor for categorizing tournaments, it does not equal a specific tier. Higher tier tournaments require a higher level of competition, which, if not met, can cause a tournament to be tiered lower. For example, a hypothetical $75k tournament with no affiliation to high level teams participating is not A-Tier, but B-Tier at most. All tiers are up to Admin discretion."
Subreezy [#15]champs should be valued over masters due to amount of teams, but ANY international event should be above VCL and other tier 2 shit, tiers should be
SS - Champions
S - Masters and LOCK//IN
A - Regional Leagues
B - Ascension
C - Regional Splits
D - 3rd Party tounaments (Non-Riot organizer)

So more shitter teams = cooler and better tourney? Only thing that difffers from masters and champs is ppool, skin money and a bigger trophy. All the ebst teams are present at both, they play the same amount of importance in team rankings, regional standings and showcasing the best valorant has to offer. This is like saying ESL Pro League is on par with IEM Cologne or Katowice because it has more teams. Its stupid.

Because Riot wants this way, Masters is part of the road and the end of it's the Champions (Bigger trophy, bigger prize, Animations, teams earn more money with the Champions skin; and probably in the future the team that wins will have custom sprays, keychains or even a custom skin that will be sold in the store). The idea is to be the main championship of the year, in LOL for example: Worlds bigger than Mid-Season Invitational (the second most important)

But superdome tier A and last year Challenger leagues are also tier A...
