My sleep schedule is absolutely fked. I need to fix it ASAP. I was on 2 hrs sleep, was falling asleep at class so thought okay, at least I might get some sleep at night. But nah I was wired the whole night. Melatonin didn't work. People who have experience taking sleeping meds, Does zolpidem work ? Do i take it or nah? Is it gonna make me dependent if I take it this one time?

if ur awake the whole night I'd bet my life savings ur on your phone tbh

what I do is wear an eye covering, and if the circadian "lag" is really bad i try to exhaust myself before going to bed. so something like a workout works for me

I generally workout at the evening and generally have no problem sleeping by 1AM but I ruined my sleep schedule this week cz I had some off days before exam. Now I can't get my shit back together. Unfortunate :(

No that's so true. What you really need to do is drop kick your phone to the other side of the room and then get used to thinking in bed again. I've been having a lot of trouble doing that recently but I'm getting better.

What's CBD?

Cannabinoids I think, its present in weed alongside THC. Hes correct btw, it has a great calming effect on a lot of ppl and can help you sleep

shower before sleep, dont go on phone or PC, also maybe just do stuff during the day.

some people can't sleep at night because they just don't do anything during the day, and their body doesnt get tired. workout or walk or do anything during the day that involves your physical body.

Drink a lot, vodka, wine, scotch anything, you will doze off

Tbh you could try pulling off an all-nighter (on an appropriate night ofc like a weekend or holiday), it's probably what works best for me when trying to readjust my sleep schedule after a long flight for example. You'll be pretty dead tired and fall asleep when you want.

exercise hard at some point throughout the day, and if you really need to sleep and you feel like you might not be able to, buy a bottle of unisom ($9 for 48 tablets on amazon) shit works like a charm, for your first time you honestly can take half the tablet and it will still work great

Exercise and study, no phone when at bed, no work or study in your bedroom since your mind will then associate your room with productivity and not sleep.

Some tea might help, also check the lighting in your house and make sure its smooth and not eletric white pain, helps relax the body -- same for smells, try getting a diffuser or scented candles.

Cut all caffeine, pull an all nighter, do low intensity exercise for a long period of time during that day (jogging is great) and eat a lot for dinner

Don't actively try to fall asleep - read a book/ do homework / anything not super active that u can do in bed. I find not looking at the time helps a lot too.

pick a day, stay in bed all day, sleeping or napping, dont touch your phone. at night, drink a fuck ton of caffeineand eat, then by morning stay awake, dont sleep, slap urself, fight it, by night you will be so tired you will sleep the entire night, if this doesnt work increase the amount of hours awake
