Why are people so high on c9?
Since XETA (fuck you) left they have been on a slump, yay joined and ofc he is one of the top players rn but he hasn't proven that he can work in other rosters as well as he did on optic.
I'm not saying they have no chance but after the convincing 100T loss and losing to fokus, what is giving people such high hopes?
You guys are stuck in the past, forget their peaks and look at them today
They're most definitely a good team bcoz they have all the right pieces. They have 4 cracked players and a somewhat proven IGL. All their players are dedicated to winning. And they have a really great coach too
Results of LOCK//IN won't really mean much (It's a new meta, new map pool, new teams, single elim BO3. It's basically a showcase tournament) so even if they lose to PRX, it's not that bad
I think over the next 6 months C9 will become a top team in Americas. And maybe they make a roster change too so they can remove the role clash. But yeah with time I see them being successful just bcoz they have everything it takes.

I agree dexter. Even if you don't have faith in Vanity's leadership, you should trust MCE as a coach.

No one is saying C9 is some god team, only the extreme c9 fans, idk where ur getting this from but most people are saying what ur saying, so at this point I wouldnt say their hyped cause most people are saying they wont do good based on last year results which could be true but we dont know. I can only hope though .

I mean the betting odds strongly favour C9 to win against PRX, since the team was announced people have been saying they are the best in NA, the only time I see people saying C9 are bad are random bait threads by like babysasuke not the real discussion threads which are erect for C9
