What's your excuse for not being immortal at the very least?
You have good reflexes and all the time in the world.

To all the people over 40.

Whats your excuse for not having perfect aim? You've had 40 years to aim train yet you still work "full time jobs". Pathetic.

usually less than 3 if they have homework too

ye they barely have time, and when ur close to 15-16 in the US at least u should start to get into dual enrollment programs ( basically early comunnity college) or AP (college mafia), or IB( basically a academic sweatshop no sleep) I think in other countries like in the UK you can do those same things, attend college at like15-16 then go on to university

"Finger tapping speed (FTS) peaks at 39 years of age and declines with an accelerating trajectory thereafter." - FTS has a lot to do with your topic.

So, why only ask 16-year-olds and not all age groups from 16 to 39? Also, why do you believe that only 16-year-olds have lots of free time and not the other age groups up to and including 39?

Hmm, I'm getting weird impression that, for reasons unclear to me, you're strictly interested in 16-year-olds.

I'm curious why that is? Are you ...?

No idea what you're on about, mate ... let alone OP.

Do you need assistance with reading or what?

A question for adults over 90:
How are your reflexes so bad? You've had 90 years of time to perfect them and have spent your last 20 years doing nothing.

Many factors to be honest.
Usually kids around 13-18 can grind way more, plays braindead playstyle (pure aim) when a mature or older player is more "brain" than aim itself
I think the more knowledge you have in a game, especially in FPS, makes you to play way more safer than when you're younger since you take more risks and people cannot read your game properly at all.
It happened in CS, most CS teams who win always had 1-2 young players to do this part of job while older players played more supportive.
A good team need balance these characteristics very well, If I'm correctly, some teams in Valorant prefer to let their duelists to play more "free" to abuse these things plus duelist has escape abilities, so you let your duelist only to focus in killing by his pace while other members, especially with more knowledge try to help him.

It think it's also something natural for some people to play like that, but as soon you have more and more knowledge in a game you'll stop taking too many risks.
It's complicated because there's no escaping it, as time goes by a player will acquire more and more experience and this will affect their way of playing, so he will play safer naturally.
I think younger players are more creative, while older players tend to be more logical overall, it is not only AIM difference at all.
When you're young, the best thing you have is the adrenaline of winning a clutch by making insane plays, there's no better feeling.
But when you're old, the best thing you'll ever feel is actually WINNING itself, and not just clutching at all.
Pretty sure most of players around 20-23 start feeling way more less "adrenaline" during clutch situations than they were teenagers.

  1. good reflexes doesn't necessarily mean being good
  2. There is this thing called school and work
