Atleast CS has popular teams that perform well like Navi Faze etc. Val has had many finals with teams with not a lot of fans like Masters Berlins when Gambit and NV both weren't very popular, Champs had Acend with no fans. Masters Copenhagen had FPX

The only reason why this narrative that CSGO viewers watch all teams was formed because the most popular teams in CS like Navi G2 Faze were the best performing teams as well. Just look at Outsiders vs Heroic today it probably wont cross Navi vs Furia despite being the finala
