I am confident this will be true with teams like outsiders and heroic in the gf and a sleeper crowd
that would be an embarassment to "CSGO's greatest major" - that one vlr user that said rio would peak 3m+ viewers

Just no major storylines or well known teams. (smaller fanbases)

so yeah you probably right

unless the game goes to like double ot map 3

The one who said that rio would peak 3M+ was delusional.

But people were expecting a crowd that will appear for every game and cheering, which they did, but on group stages.

The crowd was good, but on playoffs they disapoint us. That's the truth

I mean if Sen was there in finals or Zeta division, viewership would go bonkers in Val too. Atleast CS has popular teams that perform well like Navi Faze etc. Val has had many finals with teams with not a lot of fans like Masters Berlins when Gambit and NV both weren't very popular, Champs had Acend with no fans. Masters Copenhagen had FPX

Already surpassed in average viewership.

Maybe not in peak, but most due the fact that all of the popular teams got eliminated.

it will.. as much as i want valo to be bigger than cs u cannot deny right now cs has a much deeper culture and fandom which is there to watch biggest matches rather than biggest teams/ players

We went from NaVi (s1mple, Electronic, B1T, Boombl4, Perfecto) vs FaZe Clan (Karrigan, Twistzz, ropz, rain, broky) major final to Heroic vs Outsiders lol unlucky really but it is what it is

and one of the best crowds in antwerp to the worst crowd ever. i know, when brazilians teams were playing it was hype, but that's an international championship

it seems alot worse because of how good the furia games were.
also how big the stadium is.
there will be a good attendance but not that good

Lmaoooo. Is this why any games not involving Navi and Furia has shittty viewership? The only reason why this narrative that CSGO viewers watch all teams was formed because the most popular teams in CS like Navi G2 Faze were the best performing teams as well. Just look at Outsiders vs Heroic today it probably wont cross Navi vs Furia despite being the finala

yes, the contrast of the crowd in relation to furia - foreign teams' matches was outrageous
