I don’t think 6th players are gonna be a thing like people is saying, it just doesn’t make sense, teams are not gonna incorporate a whole another system to their team just cause Riot said so.
Plus that would mean another unnecessary salary to pay when instead you can literally sign your mom as a 6th, never gonna play anyway
And also who tf should wanna waste his career on the bench. Monster is like 17 there’s no way he wants to sit bench

No, Riot said they need to have someone signed as 6th just in case something happens they aren't force to reschedule or whatever can just force them to play with the sixth. They are not telling teams "The sixth player has to play one of every 3 maps" or something like that, again they can literally sign their mom in and keep doing what they are doing. No players wants to waste his career on the bench so you either actually give him maps to play or you're gonna have a shitty sub

No that's def not the rule there's way too many pro's that don't play ranked and are diamond or ascendant. Still if that was the case you can put the coach or the analyst or a random mortal player

Well then yeah, a random mortal works, because if you don't actually give the 6th a guarantee that he is gonna play I don't think it's worth for anyone with any type of future to accept
