this is based off REGIONAL DEPTH at the peak of each region's best teams. how a region ranking SHOULD be done
EMEA
NA
BR
EA (east asia)
APAC
LATAM
sentinelmain377 [#5]disagree
cuz u put all japan china and kr into one
now that i think about, EA > LATAM based on their results
burritx [#7]BR >= NA > EMEA
EMEA has 1 champs win AND 2 masters wins. NA has 2 masters wins
this event was brazil's first time getting out of groups and their only champs win
Sprouts [#9]EA > APAC
DRX > PRX
EDG > NTH > XIA
ZETA > BOOM
now that i think about yes.
but APAC > KR
Gutssz [#10]FOR ALL TIMES
EMEA > NA > BR > APAC > KR > LATAM > JP > CN
EMEA 3 Trophy
NA 2 Trophy
BR 1 Trophy
let's come to the others
PRX carries APAC
DRX carries Korea but behind APAC
KRU run > ZETA run
EDG one-time
Gutssz [#10]FOR ALL TIMES
EMEA > NA > BR > APAC > KR > LATAM > JP > CN
same but switching APAC and KR
RickyIndian [#8]EMEA has 1 champs win AND 2 masters wins. NA has 2 masters wins

Valorant Champions >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Valorant Masters

Champions and masters r literally the same thing but champions has more hype. It's not like one's easier to win.

Doesn't matter the format or some shit like that. If Riot set it as the most important tour in the year, then Champions > Masters.

U def wouldn't be saying this if loud didn't just win.
Loud is a great team but having 1 good team who recently stepped up doesn't make ur region one of the best.

I'm sorry but those of us that are rational and not trying to push a narrative aren't going to just accept that. Until winning champions is actually significantly harder than winning other international tournaments, (which hasn't been the case so far) no one's perception of overall regional strength, or at least strength of top teams from participating regions, which is what is really being tested, is going to change with one tournament win.
Marshal_D_Teach [#25]But Loud won, bro.
Ik, i'm not tryna take away from that.
I'm just saying that winning 1 tourney doesn't make them even close to being the second best region. They only have 1 good team with the rest of the Brazilian scene lagging miles behind

Now say that without crying
