MiguelArtz [#3]I remember when the killjoy molly was fucking gigantic and the utility had no range... good times
When reyna had 5 orbs
KoreanOverlord [#2]ngl the only times Ive played kj is on my silver smurf
same ive only played kj once on my immo3 smurf
chauste [#6]how can you not call a turret shooting the opposite way of the person that jiggled it a bug xd? I dont think round should be replayed but its deffo a bug and rito needs to fix their shit because there's at least a dozen of these in the game that happen all the itme
its literally not a bug lol. if someone peeks and the turret detects them, it shoots but if the enemy instantly hides again, the turret just shoots in its default position. maybe its not whats intended to happen but its not a bug cuz it happens every single time in the exact same situation.
kj is prob the agent ive played the most and i always get trolled by that lol
Mjtchell [#12]ive played many hours of KJ and it is in fact a bug, but its been around for ages and it still hasnt been fixed
392 hours with 54% winrate
It's not a bug, the player that the turret spotted peeked for a moment, with the turret burst firing at the direction where the player peeked from but quickly reset to it's default position.
khayso [#14]It's not a bug, the player that the turret spotted peeked for a moment, with the turret burst firing at the direction where the player peeked from but quickly reset to it's default position.
Yes I know, but it went back into its default position twice. It also shot bullets while in default position, and imo it should not go back to default position until its done shooting
I'm sure they have developer staff there to investigate this and they wouldn't make this call without reason

exactly.
Let's say hypothetically the turret's default position was to look straight at the generator. When the turret shoots its 2nd bullet back to default, when ANGE1 jiggles out of its view, the turret would shoot its 2nd shot straight at the generator and no XSET member would bat an eye cause there obviously wouldn't be a player there.
It was just unfortunate for XSET that the turret was positioned so its default position looked at heaven.
Not enough for a replay in my opinion, just unlucky turret placement by AYRIN.

the turret just shoots in its default position
That's the problem. It shouldn't do that

It fired the initial shot towards the turret spotted the player from, it couldn't finish the burst in that direction because the player was no longer in the turret's range of view.

B3AN [#17]exactly.

I dont think its enough to replay, but I definitely think its a bug.
In the written rules if there is a bug that is suspected to threaten the integrity of competition then it is to be replayed
khayso [#19]It fired the initial shot towards the turret spotted the player from, it couldn't finish the burst in that direction because the player was no longer in the turret's range of view.

that causes another problem. say whilst the turret was finishing its 3 bullet burst, another player goes into the view of the turret, should the turret finish its burst on the first location or switch to the new player? If it doesn't switch then people will call that another bug.
Mjtchell [#23]it should not go back to default position until its done shooting

It should go back to it's default position because that's the intention of KJ's turret utility. It's not meant to remain locked on the position where the enemy was last seen. The turret regardless would not immediately switch targets mid burst.
Here's an explanation

intend isnt the right word to use he prob meant should, but regardless it isnt a bug its more of shit design and carelessness from riot

Even in the explanation video it shoots a shot in the default position
it should not go back to default position until its done shooting
Stop using that as a basis for argument.

So it will shoot blindly to a position no player is at? That could justify more "false info" accusations
D5K2 [#15]i get that but should it still continue shooting after the reset?
it shouldnt but angel hid behind the wall so fast it didnt register and so turned back to normal before finishing the burst
khayso [#31]So it will shoot blindly to a position no player is at? That could justify more "false info" accusations
This is just wrong. Its shooting at the last known position of an enemy (if it were to get fixed and not shoot in default)
If it were to shoot in a default position (which is what happened) then the players should assume there is someone in the default position
You dug your own hole

?????
KJ turret does not switch targets mid-burst - that means there was no one heaven but a player jiggle peeked the garage angle.

I KNOW THATS WHY BULLETS SHOULDNT SHOOT IN DEFAULT
IF A PLAYER ONLY SEES IT SHOOTING IN DEFAULT SOMEONE CAN ASSUME ONE IS HEAVEN

yea so its a bug that effected how the round played out. But i also don't think its fair to FPX to replay the round
