I think x10 got punished for using the same camera. It definitely was a known banned thing. People were just blaming riot for inconsistency in punishment
so why didnt FPX get punished if x10 and VGIA got punished?

yes cos in the tourney they were playing in riot has alr stated that its an exploit, but it might have been missing from champs rulebook

You cant be punished for using a game mechanic that isn’t explicitly stated to be not allowed. Imagine if tomorrow they decide to make smoking illegal, should they convict the people who smoked before? It wouldnt make sense
I guess the difference is that the cam bug gave VK advantage by seeing something the enemy couldn't, but I guess you can still see the Viper wall gap from both sides. So in theory it doesn't give the other side an advantage. But you are true with inconsistencies, but that is just my guess of why it went like this now.
there's no inconsistency, that bug was used in 2 different regions and had the same punishment which is losing the map immediately, but BR got the special treatment that champions bcz of the pressure they had on twitter about it
