Saw on a post the latam north mainly pracc against na teams..why they have difficulties to beat br and Las teams?
frappzlul [#3]as a player in LATAM North I see this region being hella different in terms of meta to the rest. The playstyle here is bizarre (watch a vod from LATAM N challengers and youll understand) and doesnt do too well compared to LATAM S's also special meta.
each region has their playstyles i guess
Do you know if the teams in latam north in scrims do well against na teams?
I dunno, latam north have more money than latam south by far, a lot of teams train in gaming house while in latam south only leviatan train in a gaming house.
I think they lack of playerbase, lot of teams sign players from the south, i think last latam north challengers have like 5 chileans and 2 argentinians,
And they lack of work ethic, leviatan and kru work like 10 hours a day specially in playoffs or in bootcamp, i never hear anything like that from a latam north team.

alice_ [#6]latam south practices with br and is better than latam north so br>na
Just facts. America franchise is going to be sad for the NA fans, they better prepare to cheer for BR/Latam teams

This is true, Latam North depend on many South players. We do have good players on North but most of them despite each other and refuse to compete. Most LAN teams are based on Executes and Retakes more than having good players.
Noyn [#17]I expected more from Fusion and Exolos tbh, they were playing really good against all NA tier 1 teams before LCQ, seems like that South America have much more high level players
Well they didn't have the best of the lucks (Torrify) and they did have some complaints with the event
Mortadelo [#18]Well they didn't have the best of the lucks (Torrify) and they did have some complaints with the event
Agree, they seemed kinda nervous to me, and Torrify stuff affected them

Yup, I think in normal conditions they would have put a better fight against TBK who I was already really rooting for tho. Maybe challenged Furia to a fifth map
Apparently Fusion started the tournament having practiced just twice cause the pracc rooms weren't too good meanwhile Br teams were allowed to use their own installations. It's a fair complaint but obviously not a determinant factor, they choked Ig

according to FNS, Fusion puts up a really good fight in scrims

xander was a freak at LCQ 2021 and in this one he went negative both matches FUSION played (on jett and chamber), i think that the whole team mental was down
LATAM north teams are probably incredible in their macro sense, but you have to understand that there aren't many players in the scene and that means the talent pool is not very big. (Radiant Ladder in LAN is at a much lower level than most other regions (from experience too)) Its harder to get a really good team unless you make a really good superteam, which would be very hard in an underdeveloped region like this. Most good players already on an org and orgs arent willing to buyout these players.
