YvngKurry [#3]Lol fucking snowflakes. He got tilted and said it. Move on. Since he’s a pro people trynna ruin his life.
no dumbass thats why i mentioned his chances of signing to a big org, because they care about this shit its not about my personal opinion about him
youngblood [#6]no dumbass thats why i mentioned his chances of signing to a big org, because they care about this shit its not about my personal opinion about him
cry and cope, it's more pathetic that these guys are trying to cancel him on twitter and they're telling him to touch grass
alice_ [#8]with that mentality he wasnt gonna get far anyways
i think becoming 1 of the best tier 2 players is quite far
no_noise_979 [#2]no
imagine not signing a player because of smth they said in ranked 1 time. i dont care who it is, EVERY player said 1 thing toxic in ranked one way or another. cancel culture is wack.
condemn them so they learn to be better and move on
This isnt even cancel culture tbh
Targets not gonna hire a kid that goes up to the walmart workers and does the same
Honestly at this point this is a potential workplace and clearly doesnt understand the etiquette of being on a team and representing a brand

grow up man.
professional esports/streaming are completely legitimate careers, and players should hold themselves to a higher standard. nobody should say this shit, especially not a pro player.
go to your coworker, go to a customer at the mcdonalds you work at, tell someone to kill themselves, see what happens. in every other field you'd see repercussions immediately, if you think getting posted on twitter is bad you'd get fired from different jobs for saying the same

i hope you realize like 50% of pro players done toxic stuff like this in ranked 1 time... im not saying its ok
so just cancel 50% of pros i guess?
no_noise_979 [#9]i think becoming 1 of the best tier 2 players is quite far
he is a very talented player so it sucks to see him in the spotlight for the wrong reasons
no_noise_979 [#12]i hope you realize like 50% of pro players done toxic stuff like this in ranked 1 time... im not saying its ok

Its not cancel culture. Its workplace etiquette
If he can't behave correctly in a space, then opportunities will steer away from him
its called consequences
blueberry [#11]grow up man.

you cant make that comparison because theyre totally different
no_noise_979 [#15]you cant make that comparison because theyre totally different
explain to me how they are different.
pro player = employee
fellow pro player = coworker

so you think 50% of pro players should cease to exist in valorant esports. good to know.

1 is ranked in a videogame
1 is IRL
and saying fellow pro player is a coworker is so fucking bullshit its WAY more nuanced than that
no_noise_979 [#17]so you think 50% of pro players should cease to exist in valorant esports. good to know.
Why are you trying to victimize someone who's clearly at fault?
Therapy is available and I think you should use it
We are not talking about 50% of pros we are talking about the clip
What you say is not relevant to the conversation.
no_noise_979 [#18]1 is ranked in a videogame

and yet, both are part of massive businesses where people are employed under a boss (in the pro player's case, the org). in either case, higher ups DO NOT want to be associated to people who say shit like this.
also, saying shit like "ranked in a videogame" is incredibly disingenuous. gaming is the largest part of the entertainment industry, and pro players rely on them to earn a living. simplifying it to "just a game" does not properly represent that these people are dependent on the games to live their lives, much like how you and I rely on our jobs

exactly at the end of the day the orgs employ these players and pay their salaries and there's a certain behavior to be followed and this type of behavior is a big red flag for them
HackNaija [#23]an honest apology probably would save him from being cancelled.
he already tweeted something about it
NG1nS [#25]ahhh man he was such a big talent too, he really might have fucked his career for the time being.
well at the end of the day it depends on him to apologize to otom and recognise his mistake and move on
How old is he actually
20 in 2 days

babysasuke [#28]fwiw this guy probably didnt IRL want the other guy to kill himself
rude but weird to discredit him altogether, the internet is a weird place
listen man of course a person might say some shit that he doesn't mean, but unfortunately that's the internet and the internet has its own values and rules so he should've kept his cool, it's the consequences

yeah but youre about to side with ending this guy's career over a dumb comment in a comp game
Its stupid, but it shouldnt ruin his life
babysasuke [#32]yeah but youre about to side with ending this guy's career over a dumb comment in a comp game

yeah i agree it definitely shouldn't end his career, i don't care about this justice culture on the internet, but at the same time i can't vouch for him being a one time thing and he didn't mean it either, so it's up to him to show how sincere he is to the court of the internet
that's what I'm saying
if it was a one time thing imo him just apologizing to otom and making an apology and recognising his mistake should be enough, but the twitter people might not agree

nah but like he could say it every game, but no one actually means that
It's a thing people used to say in competitive games, and it was never meant for someone to actually do it
Final word: He should not have said it, he shouldnt say it in the future, and if he doesnt everyone should just leave him alone
if he keeps doing it then idk, hes trying to sell his chances as a pro val player
