The point of a trap is to punish people for flanking or for pushing onto site. What's the point of just detecting? A sentinel is associated with stopping pushes with util. By removing the slow, he won't function as a Sentinel.

Aight tell me what does killjoys alarmbot does? Just gives vulnerability Or even cypher tripware, sure it stuns you but only if you are not able to break the wire in time, which is very easy to do.

Doesn’t KJ alarm make you vulnerable and like Cypher trip slows you down for awhile unless you break and if you don’t then it will stun

Thats the reason rendezvous was probably intended for but people mostly use it for playing very aggressively
we'll have to see how this plays out, could be like how the jett nerf was awhile ago that didnt quite take her out of the meta but did punch into the pickrate a bit, problem being is we didnt get alot of buffs to go to other agents to increase the power level as well. I feel like the nerfs went a bit much kinda like with Astra inna sense. Hopefully he's still atleast usuable in matches.

There has to be an incentive for the flanker to shoot at the bot before it “activates” even though it still reveals the location. With kj the vulnerability makes you very weak to the kj molly, and cypher trapwire reveals your outline making you weak to spams through walls/smokes

The same goes for Chamber alarmbot as well. You can shoot it before it slows you.

Yes the slow is now 6sec or 6.5 sec instead of 9.5sec
