Is this normal? will the tickets ever be sold out?
welikefortniteandvalorant [#2]Asking myself the same question. They get like 100k+ Viewers on every Stream (Valorant and Tarik channel combined).
You dont pay to watch tarik, you pay a lot to go to copenhagen.
Cresp [#3]You dont pay to watch tarik, you pay a lot to go to copenhagen.
Yeah youre correct. They Prices for a Seat are like 25ish Dollars? Ofcourse outside EU people have to fly there but people who live close to Denmark shouldnt have a big problem. There are just way too less tickets sold out rn i feel like

For some people a flight even within Europe might not be worth it so they just decide not to attend it.

Yeah ofc its not as simple as I said it, EU have it easy for the trip but you still have to plan out a trip and all this effort for a midseason/qualifying tournament, whilst champions is only a few months away, I thinks its chill tickets haven’t sold out after all its a winners final for a midseason tourney.
i mean it is denmark with no danish teams / players and considering valorant players are considered 2nd class citizens by CS elites (who the danes just wont let go) im honestly not suprised , but boy am i waiting for istanbul , all the matches will have a crowd , i trust the turkish fan base to show their support(i hecking love tukish players some of the highest celing players in the world but also the lowest floors) and cause its bloody istanbul
katsu_vlr [#7]kinda expecthis tbh... our only chance was if team liquid and G2 making it but without them, EU attendance was destined to be low ;c
It is not about the teams in stage
Trykan [#10]Its just the location of the Venue, you already know if it was in NA/JP/BR shit would be sold out instantly.
EMEA is tough just cause theres so many countries there so travel is more dedicated
if it was in spain Germany france or turkey it wil be sold out in like 30m all tickets man but rito man rito
RiotGunBuddy [#12]dude you really serious? the whole valorant community just live to see another night market because they are broke af and you think they can afford a flight, hotel and a ticket for a garbo game?
0/8
there was like no advertising for the LAN and most team's fans barely even know if their team is gonna make it until like a couple of weeks before the event, unless you're an EU fan that already knew about the event and your team is in the top 4 then I doubt you would have bought a ticket. Like fuck I don't even know where you can buy tickets
philion [#15]how are 3k seats not sold out yet? COD does better than this lol, Riot needs to step up their marketing game
Valorant as an esport doesn't have its ultras in EMEA of diehard fans, who are ready to pay anything, travel anywhere to watch one of three LAN events in 2022 live. Of course, if an event is close to their home, they might go, but otherwise they won't bother to waste time on such things.
Do you think many people live in Belgium? No. Yet Antwerp had 15k+ audience. That's what you call fans, real fans. Valorant doesn't have such sect, not yet.

Shocking, Antwerp with no belgian teams got 15k+ people watching it live in the arena
How come??? There were no belgian teams
Cologne with no german teams also got 15k+ people
GeZAhri [#20]Chads saving money for Istanbul
1 day is probably enough
probably 4-5 months for us :D

This isn't about the strength of valorant esports, they chose a bad location. CS doesn't host tournaments in asia because it's dead. And Dallas didn't fill up.

Dallas didn't fill up not only because it's in NA, but also because it's a mid event which has no meaning for most CS fans + it's very hard for europeans (and not only europeans) to obtain visas for some USA travelling.
Think about it. Valorant this year will have 2 international events with crowds. Similar to 2 CS majors with crowds per year. While CS major collects more than ten thousands of audience, Valorant can't get half of 3k stadium, doesn't matter whether it's in Denmark or not. It's embarrasing.

whether it's in denmark or not
idk where you're drawing this conclusion from when a LAN in Japan had 20k + already but okay. Also Istanbul will blow this event out of the water. I don't understand how you can understand the VISA thing for a CS event in Dallas but not understand it for valorant copenhagen
avepalto [#25]i mean, of all countries of europe they chose Denmark, while having spain, france, turkey, germany...
valorant doesn't have dedicated fans that's the problem, its not like Denmark is in the middle of nowhere or something you can literally travel there from all eu countries in hours
mattgg2015 [#29]Several reasons
- Copenhagen does not have a good esports crowd (even in CS they leave after Astralis plays)
- Tickets got announced late
- Lack of marketing
and lastly, the most important- The game just isn’t as popular as people think and it hasn’t developed that cult following yet
Yep i wanted to go but it was announced too late
welikefortniteandvalorant [#4]Yeah youre correct. They Prices for a Seat are like 25ish Dollars? Ofcourse outside EU people have to fly there but people who live close to Denmark shouldnt have a big problem. There are just way too less tickets sold out rn i feel like
i feel like istanbul more tickets would be sold, i would never go to watch a masters, only champs
Jarvis04 [#26]You're not allowed to enter the Arena dressed as a weeb, so its probably because of that
