Holy fuck man, every single LAN champion has been shit the very next LAN tourney.

Is Valorant just not made for consistency? So much variables out there making the game so random.

Name one team that was a champion and at least advanced to top 3 the next tourney...

well, Sentinels didn't become trash right after winning first Masters. but the rest evolved and they stagnated

I mean the game is releasing new agents and updates every act. So kinda expected to have inconsistencies in pro play for the time being.

It's always hard to stay the best, it's easier to be the challenger than the reigning champion

Plus the valorant meta is always changing, so you need to adapt quickly and you can't rest on your laurels for long

FInally, as the champion you're are going to be the single most VOD reviewed team in the world, I guarantee that every single team post Reykjavik analyzed every single strat and comp Optic used in their run, if they don't innovate you'll be hard read

if you want to blame anything, blame the change of meta. game is changing a lot every update, some teams adapt better but don' have enough time to master anything

Bro frankly speaking every team atm is not good enough to consistent teams over new meta changes. The meta in valorant changes every 2 months. These teams just fall off honestly. It's easy to top ur region. Teams are consistent to stay top but in terms of dominating worlds no

valorant doesnt award consistency, with agent buffs and nerfs ever so often it does promote mastery and consistency like other FPS as CSgo, everyone jumps from agent to agent in nerf and buff cycle

the thing about VODs is so true. on CSGO, Astralis studied SK Gaming (BR roster) (when they used to win every team) VODs and neutralized them after some considerable time. first time dev1ce faced FalleN, he destroyed him.
well, then Astralis dominated CS scene winning like 3 Majors because other teams had hard time counter strating them. maybe this will happen on Valorant someday

I feel like they shouldn’t make big changes to the game until like season is over like end of the year

What do you expect from a game with random recoil? Riot only thinks about casual players/viewers, they wont make big skill ceiling games because it would become like csgo where the people that play have been doing so a shit ton of years and love the game, valorant its meant for casual to have a fun experience in an easier game

It will never happen on Valorant unless they fundamentally change the game. Which won't happen.

What's the inconsistency? The two teams playing right now were the best two teams at Masters, and their previous game was very close. Optic lose a map and suddenly the game is broken, lmao?

no it wont, it will kill tier 2 scene and reson why valo became so famous so fast was how open it was to anyone who wanted to play pro, with franchising that wont be the case

the thing about Astralis tho was that they had innovated so much with their utility that instead of being like 1 or 2 steps ahead of everyone like Optic was after Masters 1, they were closer to like an entire canyon, and the rest of the field was just trying to slowly get across. Once they reached Astralis, they fell off
