S3 doesn’t beat S1 in my books S3 was full of dry comedy and characters personal development more than the monster while S4 had a balance of both S4 also was a much serious season with much higher stakes best season so far

There are a lot of lose ends in volume 1 so I think here's what will happen in volume 2 :

vecna's arc will be ended by el .
Either one of hopper and mrs buyers die or they both make it back to usa.
Either the basketball team captain dies or teams up with the protagonists.
Mind flayer's motive will be revealed as the season ends.

pretty sure Steve will die, the way they've been trying to set up his relationship with nancy again just means they're trying to create an emotional attachment to the character so that they have a storyline when it happens, it would be dumb to have nancy and steve be a thing again after the past three seasons have been telling us that jonathan is her real partner.

I also hope they kill mike/dustin/jonathan or at least send em off to another place because they feel pretty useless to the plot and are the least important characters this season, despite being protagonists originally.

For Mike sure his storyline is only based on him and Eleven but for Dustin and Jonathan no Dustin does play a important role this season and Jonathan has so much potential but the plot doesn’t favour him have to wait until Volume 2 to see what happens

Nah I am not a Stranger Things geek trust I just had way to much time on my hands and I just binged this series because there was nothing good left on Netflix I would recommend the boys though they do weekly releases
