Is it because you wanna trash talk and brag about your team's achievement or is it because you actually wanna see them win, based on the vlr comments the latter is not true
LegendaryPP [#5]I want them to win because it would be healthy for the game in the long term, i don't want valorant to be another CS. I want to see diversity. That and also its because i want to see Indonesia esport scene grow.
Nice mindset
archetype [#7]I want them to win to disprove the stereotype that Asians are bad at Tac FPS! Asia didn't get a lot of representation in CSGO because it wasn't marketed there, now I hope that Asia wins! That's why I cheer for all APAC, KR, and JP representatives at International events! <3

I was a very competitive person growing up, so I think it would be nice if us Asian players had a team to look up to in tac FPS games. Koreans have Faker and SKT in League, for example, but I know that other APAC countries don't really have a team or player of the same calibre to be the role model for aspiring young players. I want to see a superteam/superstar emerge for all us Asians to be proud of and cheer of! That's why I hope mixed APAC rosters become a thing, that way we can support teams without the nationalism! We can just have asian pride.
I remember being so excited when PRX and Zeta made such huge runs this Masters, I stayed up until like 6 or 7 AM watching their games because I was so hyped that the gap was closing.

Yeah actually good to see APAC which was termed as minor regions last year ( not including champs ) performing so well. I mean last year champions proved X10C( Now Xerxia ) and TS were capable to perform at a higher level and now PRX proved that they could also wreck havoc on some regions. It's a good sign and also not to forget Zeta and obviously the strat heavy DRX in the folds APAC definitely has potential it only depends on how it grows and how fast it does. W comment

Hard agree and thank you! Yeah, I was happy when Nuturn got 3rd place but I really wanted to see Asia in general do well and prove that Nuturn didn't fluke their way to 3rd, and for us to get that coveted 1st place. Prove that our continent can be the best if they wanted to, and that CS is the way it is solely because Valve didn't support our early scenes. PRX, X10C/XIA, TS, DRX, and especially ZETA, proved that there is a big possibility for Asia to be a top region (if it wasn't already) and we should be given respect as competent players. None of that EU/NA silver = APAC/KR/JP radiant talk!
Because people tend to overlook brazilian scene
Go back to vlrgg main page and check the news, 99% of it are articles about NA/EU
Less investments, poorer country, very low income but talented players
If it wasnt for me, the world would never know who mwzera is (valorant is 99% team dependant - even if you are the best player in the world you might not even qualify for masters)
swayway [#15]undeserved trophy like fns?
What do you mean undeserved? OPTC has been a top team for years now. FNS is the only original member of the former NV team left, so he has been at the lowest point possible for the team and IGL'd his way into winning a major years later. Its absurd to say its undeserved.

true. This is how I felt about APAC. I'm happy that LOUD did your region proud. Based Trembolona.

Fns won when Fnatic played with 2 subs and FPX could not play so wait till masters 2
meyournightmare [#37]Fns won when Fnatic played with 2 subs and FPX could not play so wait till masters 2
key point Fns won
unfortunate circumstances but not fns' fault, you can only beat what you are put up against
Cause I actually want my favorite teams to win (100t, DRX, GUARD, Gambit, Sen) but if it's a team I don't really like but they're in my region, then it's all for ego reasons. I have a broken ego if it's not my region winning. Aslong as my region wins, I can freely talk shit even tho my favorite teams lost.
Edit: I don't like optic
