Co-owner of GE confirmed this year they are doing KR Bootcamp and also he said something about secret weapon in kR thing
I think so they are doing a roster around SK Rossi and lightning-fast and 3Koreans
wizardbot [#5]I swear you have the most shit takes on this site lmao. Where did the three korean things even come from lmao. Whats the point of bootcamping with 2 members of your team?
They are going to Korea which is confirmed but I don't think they will create a mixed roster. Rather they might make a completely new team in Korea.
ProfessionalWill19 [#7]They are going to Korea which is confirmed but I don't think they will create a mixed roster. Rather they might make a completely new team in Korea.
Why would they make a new team in KR????
Like an academy team?
KoreanOverlord [#8]Why would they make a new team in KR????

can be they had a korean ow team in the past
but maybe only bootcamp so the current roster can scrim with kr teams ?

They're going to Korea so that they can scrim against good teams, where did talks of new lineup even come from lmao. No way in hell they're going to leave their very popular and successful Indian roster to go to a region with less viewership despite having a direct slot to masters. Not to mention they have the chance at that coveted franchising Indian slot

true i can only see ge or og getting the franchising slot
and not vlt becuz of obvious reasons
KoreanOverlord [#12]their coach is ex damwon coach Im sure they can book scrims easily
That's so good for them
Why go to Korea when Singapore is literally the centre of APAC right now and you all get the best ping possible from SG and also all its even possible to scrim against KR, JP and Chinese teams with a fairly low ping but ig they have different plans.
SG- SG (5 Ping) , SG- HK(~45) , SG - Mumbai (~52), SG - Tokyo (~65).

they had a korean team in the past and they had a bootcamp there before so maybe that is easier ?

LOL are u fr, korea is pretty much closer to all those regions except SA
check japan team scrims they never scrim outside of KR JP and HK servers
kushcash0331 [#17]Skrossi, LF, Skillz + 2 koreans would be a good roster no cap
So fking true like acutally good but ge wont do this also hellranger is a big brain so only 1 kr but like good player, would make this team great
KoreanOverlord [#16]LOL are u fr, korea is pretty much closer to all those regions except SA

Its not about being geographically closer. SG has better connectivity to all SEA countries just because of the inet infra there. Also SG teams often scrim against JP teams on HK server and they both have the same ~40 ping. And also SG- Korea ping is less compared to the other way around.

dude ge had a bootcamp in korea in the past since they had an overwatch and fn team there xd
thats why they chose korea

look man Im gonna make it as simple as possible
lets say you want to scrim kr, jp and china teams
then you would either move to hong kong, seoul, or tokyo to scrim
now out of those 3 seoul is the most affordable, best internet, have good teams, why would u got to singapore and have 60 ping games
delusional_rvk_fan [#18]So fking true like acutally good but ge wont do this also hellranger is a big brain so only 1 kr but like good player, would make this team great
Kohli is ready to take kappa's place.

can you explain

yes you are right going to Korea will give me better ping to KR,JP and CN teams. What what about SEA teams?? You will get much higher ping to SG servers and HK servers while being in Korea because net infra there favors jp and cn not SEA countries.
SkNirav [#22]Kohli is ready to take kappa's place.
Yeah ge will be actually strong if kholli took kappa's placethis team has bright future ahead
JiangLi [#24]yes you are right going to Korea will give me better ping to KR,JP and CN teams. What what about SEA teams?? You will get much higher ping to SG servers and HK servers while being in Korea because net infra there favors jp and cn not SEA countries.
theyre not going there to scrim SEA teams
btw, if they do scrim SEA teams, the same logic u used applies. they play on HK servers and play around 40~ ping both teams
KoreanOverlord [#26]theyre not going there to scrim SEA teams

So what they going to KR to only scrim DRX and DWG which lets be honest are the only decent team. And for JP teams they can scrim against them in HK servers and both parties will get 40 ping which is low. But yes you made the cost point right because SG will be really expensive if they wanna bootcamp there compared to Korea.

LOL, F4q the streamer team was kicking T2 SEA team asses and were only beaten by teams like xerxia and PRX
dont speak out of your ass
valvenq [#23]can you explain
riot doesnt give franchise slots according to performance rather according to funds and brand value
velocity is not like a org but its setup more like a team (hope u get the difference)
whilst ge already has become a huge brand becuz it had esports teams(sg team, kr teams, facility in kr.etc) around the globe and is also involved in the nft space and if u saw rushi sirs hes looking for more investors and sponors for ge,
while orangutan already has good sponsorships and looking for more
KoreanOverlord [#28]LOL, F4q the streamer team was kicking T2 SEA team asses and were only beaten by teams like xerxia and PRX

The time you are talking about was not even stone age for SEA and f4q was beating teams made up of F/A high school students . SEA is much more developed now and teams have gotten much better. Talk about current times brother or just keep coping.

if they wanted to scrim sea they can from india already we get 60 ping -_- and from cities like chennai 35

lol but its really the same teams since then like boom edg etc, you think u guys are the only ones that improved since then?
if u say DWG and DRX are the only good teams in KR thats like saying PRX, xerxia, FS, secret, maybe bleed are the only good teams in SEA

You really did put BOOM and EDG. Guys at BOOM had regular jobs and didn't even take the game seriously at that time and in CN game is not even released yet. Indo Challengers had 2k$ prize pool and Kr had 90k$ prize pool.

They already scrim SEA teams from india, why would they even move to SG just to get 5 ping instead of 35 ping.

yeah and our players were getting paid nothing while working at cafe or school and were still competitive, our FA teams were beating JP teams like fennel too
I shouldve known u were talking out of ur ass when u said they should bootcamp in singapore

to be fair ONS is also better than DWG and judging from DWG's performance at APAC LCQ a team like TNL (widely agreed to be the 2nd best KR team better than Berlin F4Q) would have smashed the teams there.
I also hope this year's APAC LCQ is held on LAN, results from last year's LCQ are really inconsistent due to scuffed servers/ping diff.

to scrim against drx i suppose. no other team in asia provides as much value as drx
Elcatsu [#39]This is going nowhere unless they drop who should be dropped
they won't drop him but they'll replace with kohli

I’m pretty sure they are going there with a focus to play East Asian teams though, especially since they can already scrim against SEA teams with decent ping
Probably specifically going there for DRX, ONS, DK, EDG, Zeta, CR, and Nth if I were to guess
