I heard custom keyboards are much more expensive than prebuilds?
What are the pros/cons?

Pros: Customization. If you customize a prebuilt, I think it's more of a "modding" rather than a custom one. With customs, you pretty much pick out all the parts you want in your keyboard.

Cons: Price. For me this wasn't a problem since it's relatively cheap (around +100USD), but you're better off just modding a prebuilt than getting all the parts yourself rather than spending more money than you should. Another one is LUBING, this was hell for me especially since I had to lube 84 switches.

For me, I think the cons outweigh the pros and you should only get a custom when you are like 1000% sure you want it.

Probably Gateron Milky Yellows, they are relatively cheap and sound pretty "thocky", they are also linear.

clean af dude. I heard GMK keycaps can take a while to be produced, how long did it take you to get yours?

QK65 board with PMK keycaps and gateron black ink switches. Gasket mounted with "socks" and stabs are just lubed normally without any holee modding.

GMK's probably take anywhere from 2-6 months after group buys end.

But damn...gmk olivias are nice.

Ordered this set in 2019 and it took ~9 months but the hobby has grown a lot in the past 2 years and wait times for new GMK sets have been taking anywhere from 12-18 months.
